Zoning Board of Appeals

The Zoning Board of Appeals hears requests from citizens for relief from ordinances, variances, special use permits and other determinations. Variances are approved departures from the requirements of the zoning ordinance, and are needed if construction, alteration, or occupancy of a structure will result in a violation of zoning requirements. Typical variance requests include: building a structure closer to the property line or to a body of water, erecting a larger sign, or constructing fewer parking spaces.

Meetings held 2nd Tuesday of the month - 6:30 pm at the Township Hall.
