Civic Projects in East Bay Township

East Bay Charter Township encourages and supports the efforts of local service groups who are interested in focusing their efforts and attention towards improving the Township. To that extent, the Township is receptive to special projects that Scouts, and other service groups, pursue to achieve their Eagle Scout Badge, or similar certification/recognition. Past projects completed in East Bay Township include the construction and installation of bat boxes and bird houses in various parks, construction of new benches, landscaping, and painting, refurbishment and improvement of baseball diamond, storage facility for tennis/pickleball courts. Scouts and other interested groups need to contact East Bay Township to discuss the details of their proposed project. If ideas are needed, the Township keeps an ongoing list of project ideas to share.
