UPDATE FROM THE PARKS COMMISSION

The parks are all looking great! We are continuing to make improvements throughout the entire parks system. Perhaps the most noteworthy is the completion of the new play structure at Grace McDonald Park. This new structure has already seen a lot of use and will provide many hours of fun for our community for years to come. This was a major project, requiring approximately one hundred hours to erect. The following businesses and organizations volunteered their time and or services : Schworm excavating, A.S.B.A (a local antique snowmobile club), Grand Traverse Balloon, and JR Auto Painting.

A special thanks to the members of A.S.B.A. These guys really stepped up to the plate and made things happen. Without their generous donation of time and skills we would not have completed the structure for the Memorial Day weekend. Thanks to all other volunteers as well!
